All the Commercial camera manufacturers have dreaded this day to come. But here it is now. I have developed a Blackflash Still Pic unit that also does 720p HD video as well. It is available with or without the amped sound. It uses the 24 led 940nm array. If you are 2 feet or closer some folks say they can see a very faint purple glow. Out past 2 feet it is completely black. For the still pics it has a Trailmaster mode. When a critter is sensed it turns on the LED Array and takes a pic. Array and camera remains on and everytime it senses motion it takes a pic. After 30 seconds of no motion being sensed it turns off the camera and the LED Array and rearms itself. Very fast trigger time. The video mode has the option of 30 second video clips or 1 minute video clips. Uses the HPWA Fresnel paired with a Big Foot Board so you never miss a critter. It has the option of Color Day/IR at night as well. This option is great if you desire using the unit in video mode. But if your main use will be still pic mode most folks opt to simply convert the pinkish images to black and white using Picasa 3 Software which is FREE. Unit comes with 2 rechargeable SLA batteries and a charger. The light output from this unit is far greater than any commercial cam I have seen so far. These units take AWESOME pics and are really bright at night but they still have some "Minimal" Motion Blurr but no where near the motion blurr I have seen in the Commercial cams.

Hello, My name is Jim Sanders. I would like to welcome you to my website. I started building "Homebrew" game cameras because I got tired of the commercial cameras constantly failing in the woods. It is so frustrating to put out your cameras and wait 2 weeks to go check them to find only blank pictures or no pictures at all. So I started building my own units. Did this for quite awhile and before you knew it I was building all my friends camera units as well. Then I joined several of the wildlife forums on the internet where everyone started hearing about my cameras and that has led me to where I am today. I am a full time Firefighter for a living. We work the 24 hours on-shift and 48 hours off-shift so I had lots of time off to enjoy this hobby of camera building. My wife, Tina and I have 3 children Melody (23), Bobby (17), and Bradley (9). About My Units
All of my units are "Custom Built", one at a time. I do not have a warehouse full of cameras that I am selling. All my units are built in a 12' X 16' shop in my back yard. I am the only builder. I take alot of pride in my work which I hope shows in my units. I build everyone as if I were building it for myself. Each and every unit is fully tested, much UNLIKE the commercial cameras whick may test one of every 5000 units. The cameras listed in the "Camera Units" section of this website are units I build day in and day out. I can custom build anything you want if there is something you would like that you do not see there in that area. Just contact me for a Quote on your unit. If there is something you would like to change in a unit you see listed, please contact me. I am sure we can do that at little or no upcharge on the unit. Some things are standard on all my units. I always use a HPWA Fresnel. The High Performance Wide Angle Fresnel ensures my units never miss a animal. My units get at least 52' of detection distance. I always use the Neoprene Rope Seals to ensure my units never leak moisture into them. Every single unit is "Dunk Tested" to ensure this.
